UCSC student training

Capacitar offers a training program in holistic wellness practices and workshop design and program delivery to university staff and student interns. Once trained, staff and interns design and implement a program of wellness practices within their university community.

University of California Santa Cruz

In 2003, Capacitar began a pilot project in collaboration with the Health Promotion and Outreach Department at the University of California, Santa Cruz. The project trained a student intern and a staff member. The student intern designed an outreach program within the University. She recruited other students and trained them in Capacitar wellness practices.
As a result, short workshops are being conducted within the University community.
